Blue and Amber Inflatable’s Day

29 April 2016

Fans encouraged to make a big atmosphere on Saturday

The Shrewsbury Town Supporters Parliament and Blue and Amber Fanzine are declaring this Saturdays crunch game vs. Peterborough as the “Blue and Amber Inflatable’s” day. Town fans are being encouraged to come to Saturday’s massive game plastered in Blue and Amber and bring along with them inflatable’s and balloons.

Brian Caldwell, Shrewsbury Town CEO, said “We speak to the supporters about how we can improve the matchday atmosphere and this is a great initiative from the Supporters Parliament.  Saturday is a big, big game for us and if we get the right result against Peterborough then everyone can celebrate.”

Glyn Price of the STFC Supporters Parliament said “The game is huge and we want to get the club and fans united for one last push to help STFC secure League 1 football for another year. We hope the ground full of colour and a buzz in the stands can help spur the lads on to victory”

He continued “Hopefully the weather is kind and we can see a mass of town shirts in the crowd, and people take advantage of cheap inflatable’s at the various discount shops, you can find some really interesting ones if you look hard enough!”

There will also be competition to see who can bring the most amazing inflatable to the match. All you have to do is send a picture of yourself with the inflatable inside the stadium before kick-off to @b_and_A_Fanzine on twitter. The winner will receive a £10 gift voucher at the club shop.

If you are bringing inflatables with you try not to let them get onto the pitch as this will cause a few problems.
