Young members given chance to lead out team
Shrewsbury Town Football Club have announced that the clubs junior members are being given the opportunity to be mascots at this seasons Sky Bet League One matches.Members of the scheme will be drawn out at random each week and given the chance to lead the boys out onto the Greenhous Meadow pitch.
This opportunity could be yours for as little as £10 when you purchase a junior membership.
The membership scheme, which replaced the old Lenny’s Club from the start of the 2014-15 season, is open to all young supporters under the age of 16.
With over 30 new members joining at last weekend’s club open day, there are now well over 100 members.
We have tailored the membership packages to reward the younger generation for their loyal support.
Starting off with Tiny Shrews for our newest born to 4-year-olds (not eligible for mascot package), after that we have catered for our 5-11 year-olds with our Junior Shrews membership.
And finally, for the slightly older fans, our ‘One Town’ membership covers all for them.
AGE GROUPS
Tiny Shrews (FREE)
The Tiny Shrews, for 0-4 year olds, offering has been reviewed and improved for the forthcoming season.
In 2016/17, Tiny Shrews members will receive a membership card, a birthday card, a limited edition ‘Tiny Shrew’ bib, free entry for matches (Family Stand only). In addition, this amazing package is completely FREE!
Junior Shrews (£10 per season)
Junior Shrews, for 5-11 year olds, also receive a host of benefits (below) in their membership package:
- Membership card
- Birthday card & video message from their favorite player
- 10% discount off Soccer Schools
- Beanie hat
- Special access to the Junior Shrews zone at the Football Club (Saturday League matches only).
- £5 voucher in the Shrewsbury Town Club Shop
The number of Junior Shrews members has had a percentage increase over the last two years and the young supporter base continues to grow!
Membership provides a sense of belonging and opens the door to some great opportunities and discounts to enjoy.
‘One Town’ Membership (£10 per season)
For the ‘One town’ members aged 12-16 they receive:
- A membership card
- Birthday card and tweet
- Video message from favorite player
- Beanie hat
- £5 voucher in the Shrewsbury Town Club Shop
- Chance to be part of the ball boy team
- Along with discounts at local businesses around Shropshire
