Town travel to the North East for EFL Cup

Shrewsbury Town will travel to Premier League side Sunderland in the second round of the EFL Cup.
The game will take place on the week beginning the 22nd August and will see Town manager Micky Mellon pit his wits against former Shrewsbury centre half and current Sunderland boss David Moyes.
Town have had a good cup tradition in recent years reaching the fourth round in 2014 before being knocked out by Chelsea.
They will be looking to cause another upset after knocking out Championship side Huddersfield Town in the last round.
Manager Micky Mellon is happy to be playing another Premier League club, but won't let it distract his players.
"We are pleased with the opportunity to play a Premier League club at such a fantastic Premier League ground," Micky told ShrewsWeb.
"The game is some way in the future, so it’s hard for me to concentrate on it as we're all focused on the Coventry game this Saturday.
"I'm pleased for the club that we get to play the fifth Premier League club during my two years here and that has been a great experience for the club.
"We will focus on the game nearer to the time and I'm sure it will be a great experience for the supporters and for the players"
