It’s been a disappointing weekend for our young players out on loan as none managed to pick up a victory.Shaun Rowley’s Chorley side weren’t in action this weekend, but they will be getting ready for their FA Trophy tie with Stafford Rangers on Tuesday night, which has been called off twice already due to a frozen pitch.
Halesowen Town had a weekend to forget as they were defeated 4-0 by Marine. Kaiman Anderson still looked lively for The Yeltz, but a three goal blitz in the first half, followed by another late on saw them comfortably beaten.
Meanwhile, Callum Grogan was back in action for Radcliffe Borough after the weather had called off last weekend’s game with Lancaster City. However, the young Liverpudlian couldn’t do anything to keep out Burscough as they scored the only goal of the game in a 1-0 win.
