Town To Pay For Coaches

3 December 2016

Supporters Coaches to Fleetwood replay will be on the club

Shrewsbury Town will be making another trip up to the Fylde coast to take on Fleetwood Town in a couple of weeks.

The clubs played out an entertaining 0-0 draw in the Emirates FA Cup which means the tie now goes to a replay at Highbury.

After the game Town CEO Brian Caldwell announced that the club would be paying for the away travel coaches for the replay.

It’s a small gesture from the club but at time when money is tight the club want to try and help the fans who chose to travel.

“We will pay for the supporters coaches going to Fleetwood for the replay”, said Brian.

“We appreciated that people are watching the money around Christmas and I think it's only fair that the club pick up the tab for the coaches.

“Hopefully it will encourage a few more to make the trip as we do need as many supporters to go and get behind the team as we can.

“We look at any game as a winnable match, when we played up their we were in the game until they scored their goals, so we will go there looking to progress to the next round of the FA Cup.”

Full details will be announced next week.
