Important league games coming up but then focus on the FA Cup

Shrewsbury Town’s reward for beating Sheffield Wednesday in the Saturday’s Emirates FA Cup tie was to be drawn at home to Manchester United.

The date of the mouth watering game has still to be confirmed but interest in the game has been high since the draw on Sunday evening.

Once the date is confirmed then ticket details can be finalised and information will released in due course.

The date with Manchester United is one which will bring interest not only from the loyal Town faithful but also from football fans the world over.

“To be drawn at home against one of the most iconic football sides in the world is great not only for the club and our supporters but also for the people of Shrewsbury and Shropshire.

“However we are acutely mindful of our league position and are doing all we can to support Micky to ensure that we secure our League 1 status.”
