Defender Joins League Two Side On Permanent Deal


The Club would like to thank Mark for his work and dedication during his time at Greenhous Meadow and wish him the best of luck in the next chapter of his career.

Ellis featured 12 times for Shrewsbury in all competitions this season and was a regular in the Town side which won promotion from League Two last season.

The 27-year-old has been on loan at the Sky Bet League 2 side since October and has now completed a permanent move to the Cumbrian outfit.

Shrewsbury Town defender Mark Ellis has signed for Carlisle United on a permanent deal.
