Club Open Day

27 July 2016

Sunday 31st July Date For Your Dairy

Shrewsbury Town will be holding its Open Day on Sunday 31st July at the Greenhous Meadow.

There will be events starting from 11am and running all through the day up to the pre-season game with Hibs, and after the game.

The day has been planned as a real family day with events for the whole family, as well as the chance to see Town in action against SPFL side Hibernian.

Shrewsbury Town in the Community will be putting on a whole host of events with many special events for members of the club’s Junior Membership.

Town CEO is hoping the Open Day will showcase the club to more families and young supporters.

“It’s great that the Hibs game is now confirmed as we can announced the Open Day and the details for that”, said Brian.

“There will be some activities before the game and plenty of activities afterwards, Jamie Edwards and the community team have a full list of activities in place.

“It’s a great opportunity with the 12:30 kick-off as it gives us the afternoon to do as many activities as we can.

“Hopefully we can encourage some new young supporters and their families along, whether it is just for the Open Day or for both that and the Hibs game.

“We’ve made the pricing as cheap as we can for the Hibs game to encourage people along as we need to get the whole of the community to get behind us.”
