What Do I Do Next?
All participants on this programme with have the opportunity to purchase Football Education Programme training clothing.
Selected players for the football performance programme will be supplied with match-day kit along with a strength and conditioning programme.
The Football Education Programme aims to be flexible; some students will take part in both parts, where others may only take part in one. Both elements have maximum numbers and therefore a selection process will take place during enrolment in August/ September 2016.
: The football performance element means you will be expected to attend two training sessions per week and represent Ludlow College in their fixtures programme every Wednesday afternoon. This programme involves a minimum of 6 hours per week of practical sessions which will include Football and Strength and Conditioning Coaching from professional FA qualified coaches from Shrewsbury Town Football Club. : Football Leadership Programme can be one of your subject choices when you enrol at Ludlow College. You can build the Football Leadership Programme around all of the courses offered at Ludlow College, including A levels, BTEC and GCSE courses. The Football Leadership Programme comprises the following elements which will be completed throughout the academic year: Part 1

What Does the Course Involve?
Depending on your ability and progression, you may also have the opportunity to train and play with the Shrewsbury Town FC scholarship programme.
This programme is primarily an education programme focused on young players that have played at a competitive standard in the past.
You will need to be prepared to fully engage in all physical practical sessions, including fixtures where you will represent Ludlow College.
Applicants must be enthusiastic about sport and fitness, with a particular interest in developing and mastering techniques and skills in football to enhance performance.
Students enrolled on the programme will be working with Shrewsbury Town in the Community and receive professional football coaching.
The programme of study is brand new to Ludlow College and the Club is delighted to be working in partnership with the college.
