Shrewsbury Town’s lowest attendances revealed
Last week’s 3-0 win at Middlesbrough in the Checkatrade Trophy was played out in front of 308 fans, including around 20 away supporters.This was the fifth lowest attendance recorded for a senior Shrewsbury Town match and the lowest Town attendance in the history of the EFL Trophy.
So, we decided to ask you on social media to name the lowest.
It was a little bit of a trick question as the lowest came in the Shropshire Senior Cup Semi Final win over Ellesmere Rangers in 2014, where Ian Dawes’ youth team actually took centre stage in what was classed as a first team fixture.
