Rowley Goes Out On Loan

Young keeper joins Chorley Until January

Young keeper Shaun Rowley has joined Vanamara National League One side Chorley FC on a youth loan until January.

The deal was completed in time for Shaun to be available for Chorley's game at away to Alferton Town today.

Shaun has been with Town since first turning out for the club's U9s and has progressed through the youth ranks at Town.

Into the his second year as a pro with Town Shaun spent the later part of last season on loan to Halesowen Town playing a number of games for the Yeltz.

Town manager Paul Hurst spoke to ShrewsWeb about Shaun's move to Chorley.

“We have a number of good keepers here and the move will allow Shaun to get games”, said Paul.

“It is a good competitive level and will good for him to playing in the first team.”

“Shaun is a good young keeper and I am sure the move will help him continue his development.”
