Barnet are the visitors in the FA Cup First Round
Shrewsbury Town will welcome Sky Bet League 2 Barnet to the Greenhous Meadow in the First Round of the Emirates FA Cup.
Barnet currently sit in 23rd place in the Sky Bet League 2 but it will prove a tough test for Town.
There is a familiar face in the Barnet side with Jean-Louis Akpa Akpro currently playing for the North London side.
Town CEO is happy to see Town get home advantage as they look to build another good FA Cup run.
“You always are looking for a home draw in any cup competition so to been drawn to play at the Greenhous Meadow is a good draw.
“We saw last season the excitement that the FA Cup can bring and Town fans will remember the games against Cardiff, Sheffield Wednesday and Manchester United.
“We had a tough start to the FA Cup last season against Gainsborough but managed to come through that and start a good cup run.”
