Sean Evans' side prepare for foreign opposition

Shrewsbury Town Ladies will take on the Gibraltan FA National Women's team at RAF Cosford on Friday evening.

Town will face the touring side as part of their preparetion for the forth coming season.

The Shropshire side come into the game on the back of their first qulaifying round of the SSE Women's FA Cup at home to Wyrley and Sean Evans' side will be looking to test themselves against foreign opposition.

The Gibraltar national side have traveled to England to help the developing link between themselves and the RAF FA, who traveled to the Southern European country earlier this year, with the RAF coming away 3-0 victors.

Girls and Women's Development officer Peter Wilson believes it's a great opportunity for the club.
"It's something to inspire our young players coming through the RTC programme to aim to get to, both at club level and international level, so we are really looking forward to the fixture".

The game is a 7.45pm kick off and entry is free into the game.
