Fan Card FAQ

18 August 2017

A few answers to a few questions we've had about the Fan Card

Q1. What is a Fancard?

A1. The Fancard allows you to purchase a game without the need of a physical ticket and save money on the ticket.  When you purchase a ticket for the Fancard this game will be loaded on to your Fancard to be used at the respective turnstile shown in your email purchase confirmation. Ticket prices for league games for season 2017/18 will be discounted for fancard holders by £2 per match for Adults and £1 per match for concessions. Its like having a season ticket to gain entry without paying for the season, instead pick and choose which games you can attend and load them on to the card without any need to queue for tickets and save money!

Q2. How do I use my Fancard?

A2. You will need to purchase a seat for a game online or at the ticket office.  Once you have made your purchase the match will automatically be added on to your fancard. On match day if you make your way to your turnstile shown on your email purchase confirmation and present the card so it can be scanned it will allow access to the stand

Q3. How do I know which Block and seat I have purchased?

A3. You will be sent an email confirmation to the email address registered to your account. The email confirmation will show your sturnstile entry details as well as seat details  when ordering online. Alternatively call 01743 287177 during opening hours (Mon, Tues, Thurs & Fri 9-5 and 10-5 Wed). if you dont have an email address and purchase at the Ticket Office the staff will give you a note of turnstile entry point, block number and row/seat number to retain.

Q4. Can I purchase a ticket on my Fancard at the ticket office?

A4. Yes

Q5. What happens if I lose my card?

A5. You will need to purchase a new card from the ticket office replacement cards cost £5 for Adults & £3 for Concessions

Q6. What happens if I purchase multiple tickets on my account?

A6. Only one seat will be added onto the Fancard for you and any additional tickets will be printed out separately and will need to be collected from the ticket office.

Q7. How much does it cost and why do i need to pay for this?

A7. Adults £5 & Concessions £3. The cost covers the card and thereafter the admission price for league matches will be reduced by £2 per adult and £1 for concessions (e.g. Adults will be priced at £18 per match)

Q8. What happens if I forget to bring my fancard to a game and I have a game purchased on it?

A8. You will need to go to the main ticket office window where you will be given a physical copy of the ticket for that game and the fancard will automatically become invalid.

Q9. What happens when I don’t have an email address?

A9. When you purchase the game onto you card at the ticket office window you will be issued out a slip with your turnstile and seat details on.

Q10. What happens at cup matches?

A10. When you purchase any ticket for a game you will gain loyalty points.  Your loyalty points will allow you to gain priority for cup tickets.  Arrangements for cup games will be publicised ahead of tickets going on sale for the game but as the gate receipts are agreed with opposition and split we are unlikely to be be able to offer discounted admission for Cup matches.

Q11. What priority’s do I get?

A11. Loyalty points associated with purchasing of tickets will automatically be attributed to your account so if we have any all ticket matches if you have been using your fancard regularly you will benefit from the points for priority to tickets.

Q12. Do ticket master have a charge for purchasing ?

A12. There is no charge.

Q13. With the launch of the fan card, does that mean cup tickets will be loaded onto season tickets? Or will ST holders need one too?

A13. Cup games can be added to your Fan Card. These will be priced accordingly to the admission prices fro that cup game. Full details will be released when a home cup fixture is confirmed? We will also be looking at how these games work with the season ticket card.
