Kit Designer receives signed shirt

2017/18 Home Shirt designer thanked by the club

9 August 2017

Shrewsbury Town’s 2017/18 home shirt designer Stuart Crocker has received a signed shirt from the club.

The design incorporates the iconic blue and amber stripes and was worn by Town for their first League One game of the season against Northampton last Saturday.

Stuart, who is originally from Yorkshire, has been a Town supporter for over 25 years and he admits that it was a proud moment to see the kit become a reality.

“It was good to see the team run out in it on Saturday and I feel proud that it is a shirt of my design”, said Stuart.

“I don’t know why I did it. I’ve never designed anything in my life, but I just thought, why not have a go? It’s semi-traditional, but with a twist to make it a little bit different to last season.

“A friend of mine is a Southampton fan and I remember going down there last season and looking at their shirts, so it was a variation on that.”
