Three staff move on ahead of the season start
With the start of the new Sky Bet League One season just around the corner there have been some staff changes at the Montgomery Waters Meadow in some of the departments.
Club Safety Officer Alan Roberts has recently decided to step down after 7 years in the position. His replacement is Lawrence Ellerby who lives in the town and has been working alongside Alan for the last few pre-season games. Lawrence has a wealth of experience having served as Watch Manager with Shropshire Fire & Rescue and during this time he served on the Clubs Safety Advisory Group. Having retired from the Fire Service following 30 years service, he held Safety Officer positions at both Crewe Alexandra FC and Edgbaston.
Commercial Manager Richard Hill has decided to move on after just over 5 years working at the club.
And finally, Ticket Office manager Jordan Bebb has decided to take a career break and go travelling after 5 years working for the Club. Tom Hughes takes over Jordan’s position having worked alongside her in the ticket office for the last couple of years.
