Loan Update

13 February 2017

Take a look at how our players are getting on away from the club

It was a busy weekend for Town’s players out on loan as all games went ahead despite the conditions across the country.

Kaiman Anderson made a dream start for Oxford City as he scored on his debut against Wealdstone.

The home side had taken the lead early on, but Anderson pulled City level on 50 minutes as the ball fell to him 6 yards out after some scrappy defending from Wealdstone.

The draw means Oxford sit 14th in the National League South and it appears that Anderson has brought his goalscoring form with him from Halesowen.

Meanwhile, it was a weekend of defeats for the rest of Town’s loan players.

Jim O’Brien’s Ross County went down 1-0 to Aberdeen as former Manchester City defender Shay Logan struck in the 87th minute to break Staggies hearts.

Callum Grogan was part of the Skelmersdale United side which were beaten 2-1 by Halesowen Town, while Ethan Jones played on the wing in Stourbridge’s 2-1 defeat to Grantham.
