Community to show off the work of their disability programmes
Shrewsbury Town in The Community’s ‘Disability Awareness Week’ is underway, where we will be taking a closer look at the projects we are running in the community.This week is a chance to show everyone the work that Shrewsbury Town in The Community does as part of our disability programmes, with regular sessions and special visits being made in the coming days.
Disability Awareness Week will feature appearances from an England Powerchair International and several Shrewsbury Town stars, who will all be attending our Powerchair Football, Down Syndrome Football, Cerebral Palsy Football and PAN Football projects to take part and make the sessions as fun as possible for everyone!
All the participants will end the week by attending Saturday’s game with Bradford, and making an appearance on the Greenhous Meadow pitch at half time.
