Could you be Town’s 12th man?Paul Hurst is urging fans to get down to the Greenhous Meadow and cheer the lads on up the league.
On the back of recent good results, Shrewsbury Town have announced an offer of 25% off either/or both the Bury and AFC Wimbledon games and Paul would love to see you at the Greenhous Meadow.
“I understand that when times are difficult it’s perhaps easy to choose to do something else with your weekend, but from what I’ve been told there’s quite a few fans that we are missing”, Paul told ShrewsWeb.
“Hopefully, people will look and see an improvement in our league position and a better feel, so it would be great if we can get people to come back and watch the team and support the club.
“All I can assure them is that they will see a group of players giving their all and we need as much support as we can get.
“We are by no means out of trouble, there’s a lot of hard work to do and we want to make this place a fortress if possible and often when that happens it’s with good support and a large home following.
“So, if anyone is out there and perhaps have got the money and the time on the hands we’d certainly appreciate if they could come and support the team.”
