Take a look at how our youngsters got on over Christmas

After a busy Christmas period we take a look at how our developing players got on away from the club.

Shaun Rowley enjoyed Boxing Day success as his Chorley side ran out 2-0 winners at AFC Fylde.

Rowley was on top form for the Lancashire based side making a number of good saves as they beat the National League North’s top side.

However, Fylde got their own back on New Year’s Day running out 3-1 winners. The results leave Chorley in third place in the National League North on 44 points.

It was a similar story for Radcliffe Borough who enjoyed victory over Ramsbottom Town on Boxing Day. Town youngster Callum Grogan moved from centre back to right back for the game and put in another good performance.

Yesterday’s game with Trafford didn’t go as well as Borough lost 2-1 thanks to a late own goal.

Finally, Kaiman Anderson couldn’t add to his tally of 17 goals over the Christmas period as Halesowen Town played out two goalless draws against Sutton Coldfield Town and Corby Town.
