This Saturday is the clubs annual open day with events and activities for all
Saturday the 29th July will see Shrewsbury Town’s annual Open Day at the Montgomery Waters Meadow.
There will be events and activities for all the family and the FanZone will be open before and after the game with Burton Albion.
The day kicks-off at 11am with Shrewsbury Town Ladies U18s taking on their Crewe Alexandra counter parts on the community pitch behind the Salop Leisure Stand.
The FanZone opens at 12:30pm with drinks and food on sale and live on stage The One Hit Wonders from 1:30pm.
The Inflatable Zone will open at 12:30pm and Little Rascals Disco Dome and Sports Mania’s Obstacle Course will also be up and running.
The supporters groups will also be in attendance close to the Community Pitch taking bookings, signing people up and answering all your questions about this season.
Town take on Championship side Burton Albion at 3pm for our final pre-season game before the Sky Bet League One kicks off on Saturday 5th August.
After the game the first team players will be taking part in activities on the Community pitch before Paul Hurst and his staff join them in the FanZone. On the Community pitch will be sessions by Town’s Academy, Walking Football, DS Football as well as PC/CP games.
From 5:30pm the players will be available in the Salop Leisure stand for autographs and photos.
The One Hit Wonders will be continuing on stage with their Bandeoke, so if you fancy taking to the stage to belt out your favourite song feel free to join them.
