Shrewsbury Town were delighted to receive some fantastic feedback last week after hosting a Golden Wedding Celebration.
Joe and Elaine Knight chose to celebrate their 50th Wedding Anniversary at the Greenhous Meadow with over 75 people attending the celebrations.
Joe and Elaine were delighted with how the evening had gone and thanked the Shrewsbury Town staff for helping to make it a special occasion.
“Thanks to you all at Shrewsbury Town Football Club our celebration lived up to everything we hoped and wanted” said the couple.
“The venue was terrific, the food was perfect and the service was exceptional. When we first arrived the room looked wonderful. The layout and table settings looked great and all your staff looked smart and were exceptionally friendly and polite.
“The DJ was terrific and played the right balance of music throughout the night and the level of his background music during our meal was perfect.
“All our family and friends really enjoyed their food. The food was served with a smile and everyone commented on how pleasant everyone was. Well done and thanks to them all.
“We would also like to thank your Maitre d' who on the night organized wine for each table literally 5 minutes before our meals were due to be served without fuss or complaint.
“Once again thank you all for helping to make our 50th celebration such a success please pass on our thanks and good wishes to everyone at Shrewsbury Town.”
