Community looking for staff for the NCS programme
Shrewsbury Town in the Community are looking to recruit two enthusiastic, committed and motivated individuals to take on our Team Leader and Team Assistant roles on its National Citizen Service programme.The National Citizen Service (NCS) Programme is for 16 to 17 year olds (or current year 11 and 12 students and is a fun, exciting and challenging programme that offers young people the opportunity and skills to make a real difference in their local communities.
Shrewsbury Town in the Community are looking for two people to both lead and assist on the NCS programme in a full time capacity.
This would include the recruitment and retention of a set target of young people, planning, organising and delivering the induction weeks, residential, planning weeks and preparing the groundwork for final social action projects.
They will lead all aspects of the project with a small team including all administration. The programme runs three times in a year (Autumn, Spring and Summer), and suitable candidates will also lead on community based coaching and inclusion programmes.
