RAF set to take on the Royal Navy at the Greenhous Meadow

On Wednesday 29th March Shrewsbury Town Football Club will once again host the premier fixture in the Royal Air Force football calendar when the RAF play their home Inter Service Tournament fixture against the Royal Navy for the Cassar Trophy.

The Greenhous Meadow, through the support of the club, has become the home of the RAF for these prestigious fixtures in recent years.

The match, which kicks off at 7pm, will be preceded by the match ball being delivered by a Griffin helicopter of No 60 (R) Squadron of the Defence Helicopter Flying School, at RAF Shawbury.

The helicopter will land on the pitch prior to the game before proceeding on a training flight.
The fixture is open to all and is free to watch, including use of the stadium car park.

The stadium is open from 6pm.
