Community's PAN Football team through to the next round
Shrewsbury Town in the Community’s PAN football team are through to the next stage of The PAN Disability FA People’s Cup, after progressing through the 1st round of the competition.Our PAN Football team is for those with differing impairments, and the players travelled to Worcester, to compete in the tournament run in partnership with BBC Get Inspired.
The FA People’s Cup is for male, female and disability players across 16 categories, ranging from under-14s through to the walking football categories.
This year sees the first ever PAN disability category being run, where Town overcame Toros FC, Worcester all stars and Hereford lads club inclusion FC.
They will now compete in the regional semi finals in Birmingham, taking place from 24th to 26th March, with a place in the grand finals up for grabs.
Our PAN Football runs every Tuesday from 5-6pm at Shrewsbury Sports Village and allows those with differing impairments to come together and play the sport they love.
