Season Ticket prices have once again been frozen for the 2017/18 season.Once again Shrewsbury Town have frozen season ticket prices and the club would like to thank fans for their loyalty over recent years.
The 2017/18 season promises to be a fascinating one as Paul Hurst looks set to take charge of his first full season with Town.
The prices mean that an adult season ticket works out at just over £12 a game, a total saving of £165, whilst prices for concessions remain at £200 for the season, a price that includes 9 free games. These prices give the supporter over one third of games free!
There are also some great deals for kids with Under-8 season tickets continuing to be free. Meanwhile, prices for 8 to 11 year olds work out at less than £2 a game and around £4 a game for those between the ages of 12 and 18.
There will be two clear deadlines for season ticket deals this year with the 15th April and the 24th June. These dates will not be extended as they have in previous years.
Last season the club sold just over 3,000 season tickets and Chief Executive Brian Caldwell is hopeful that those numbers can be increased.
“We have looked at the season ticket prices for next season and have once again decided to keep the prices the same”, said Brian.
“We understand that money is tight for supporters and hope this will help them a little over the next season.
“I have spoken before about wanting to encourage more families to come to the Greenhous Meadow and then for them to become regular supporters.
“I think that the adult season ticket offers good value which will see supporters pay just over £12 per game next season.
“For the younger supporters once again it will be free for Under 8s while 8 to 11 year olds pay less than £2 per game and then 12 to 18 years olds £4 per game.
“Over previous seasons the deadlines have been extended but this season we will have two clear cut off dates. The first to reward those fans who commit to the first early bird price and the second runs until the fixtures for the 2017/18 season are released for those who need to check dates don’t clash.
“This season for the FA cup games we reduced the prices of the Barnet and Fleetwood games for season ticket holders and we will again do this for any cup games we host next season.”
Supporters will also have the opportunity to spread the cost of the season tickets over 10 monthly instalments and this option will be available online this season for the first time.
Season tickets are now on sale from the ticket office at the Greenhous Meadow, over the phone on 01743 273943 or online https://www.eticketing.co.uk/shrewsburytownfc/
