Great deals still to be had in the second 'early bird' phaseShrewsbury Town’s Season Ticket sales continue to perform well with the second early bird phase now well underway.
The initial early bird period saw ticket sales pass the 2,500 mark and with Town’s League One status secured sales continue to push towards the 3,000 mark.
The second early bird phase, which runs until 24th June, still offers great value for money with a saving of £120 on the Adult ticket, the equivalent of six free games. Meanwhile, concessions can save over £4 a game, whilst Under-8 season tickets continue to be free of charge.
With Paul Hurst looking to build a competitive League One squad for next season there has never been a better time to buy a season ticket and Town’s Chief Executive, Brian Caldwell, believes that the prices still offer great value for money.
“Only a few people seemed to have missed the deadline and we have been quite clear over March and April that the deadline wouldn’t be extended and advertised it as widely as we could”, said Brian.
“Despite that, it’s been good to see people still buying season tickets and they still feel that it is good value. Some supporters, i am assuming waited to ensure that we are in League One before purchasing it and have decided that they will pay that little bit more because it is still good value and we are still in League One.
“The deadline is the 24th June and by that time the fixtures are out as well, so hopefully sales will continue and also as Paul signs players that will encourage more people to come along as well because we need to encourage as many people as we can to come down to support The Town.”
Season tickets are on sale from the ticket office at the Greenhous Meadow, over the phone on 01743 273943 or online https://www.eticketing.co.uk/shrewsburytownfc/
