CEO hoping to get more young fans to the games
Shrewsbury Town Chief Executive, Brian Caldwell, is hoping that the club can encourage the next generation of Shrewsbury Town fans.
Currently Under-8 tickets are free, whilst the club also offers a Youth Group deal, which provides up to 25 free tickets for any youth group or organisation.
“I would encourage our supporters to get the message out that Under-8s go free here”, said Caldwell.
“We’ve also got the Youth Group Offer, which is open to any youth group, whether it’s a girls club, a boys club, Scouts, Cubs, or even a school group.
“We offer up to 20 children’s tickets and five adult tickets free, if they come as a group, and it has been really successful.
“It’s about trying to make people aware that that’s on offer because if we can get two or three of those to come back with their parents for future games then it’s a win-win for everybody.
“Hopefully, they enjoy it and with the brand of football and the way we are playing at the moment, there’s no better time to be pushing tickets and trying to encourage people to come along here and watch the current team.”
