Girls RTC and Ladies Team of the Month for September is revealed

The September team of the month has been revealed for the RTC and Ladies sections of the clubs. All age groups have experienced some pleasing performances this month in their first competitive month of football since coming back into preseason in August.

The ladies have progressed to the third qualifying round of the SSE Women’s FA Cup while an opening league win against local rivals Shrewsbury Juniors.
 
Team of the Month:

N Ellision (U12)
Ellision has had an impressive month in goal for the under 12’s. They have had a pleasing month winning two, drawing one and losing once, with this age group playing against boy’s teams.

E Duppa (U16)
Into her second season with the club and after stepping up from the under 14’s, Duppa has adapted well to life in the under 16’s and has progressed well in the opening month of the season.

H Nicholson (Ladies)
The only player with a 100% game time ratio since joining the club in the summer. Nicholson has been a rock at that back seeing the Town win three and lose just once this month.

I Jarman (U12)
Since joining from grassroots in the summer, Jarman has adapted well to life in an RTC and has put in some notable performances against some difficult sides this month.

F Horla (U14)
Playing a wide range of positions during the month, Horla has impressed her peers and staff with performances against tough opposition.

H Arnold (U16)
Into her second year with the club, Arnold has been one of the high performers in the age group this month. Arnold also saw herself on the score sheet away to Stoke City, with a thirty yard effort that thundered in off the underside of the cross bar.   

N Durnall (Ladies)
Stalwart midfielder who have been constant in performances this month. Durnall got on the score sheet twice against Shrewsbury Juniors in the opening league game of the season.

L Morris (U14)
Morris has been a very hard working midfielder for the under 14’s who have been some tough tests this month. Her work rate and determination has been commended by her age group staff, seeing her put in some good individual performances.

E Burns (U12)
Burns has adapted well to the step up from grassroots football last year and has put in some pleasing performances in some difficult games.

C Budd (Ladies)
Charlotte enjoyed a very pleasing first month with Town after joining from TNS. Budd notched a hatrick in her first league start against Shrewsbury Juniors and has featured in every league and FA Cup game this month. Budd has also been crowned the September player of the month for her performances in September.

M McInnis (U12)
On form striker, who joined in the summer after a spell at Wolves RTC. She has found the net in three out of the four games this month and has been a key player in the team’s recent good form.

October see’s another busy month for both the RTC and Ladies, with the RTC facing a tough away FA Cup tie to MK Dons, while the ladies have a tough test in the FA Cup themselves facing The New Saints Ladies away on Sunday 8th October.
