RTC players selected for Shropshire Schools and Colleges side
The Shropshire Schools & Colleges sides have been released and involve eighteen of the current RTC players across the under 14's and 16's age groups. The sides have been selected ahead of Bob Renke, county under 16's manager, first friendly of the season against a stong Thomas Telford School side ahead of the ESFA compeititon this coming season and Anna Perks', county under 14's manager trip to Gloucestershire ahead of the ESFA Inter Counties competition.
Shropshire Schools boasts a proud history in girls competitions with both age groups have fourteen out of the sixteen players playing within an RTC, including nine at Shrewsbury Town.
"For us we are starting to see great being made by our players and credit goes to them and all the staff involved."
"I'm sure as the season goes on other players may gain a chance to represent the county, so it's a great reason for those not fortunate this time to keep working hard to gain that spot."
Under 14's; A Braitwaite, L Etterley, A Hare, C Herbert, F Horla, L Green, A Price, M Pullen, D Staley.
Under 16's; B Charnell, T Chase, S Craig, P Hobbs, B Jenks, B Lewis, E Micklewright, S Nicholas, L Nutter.
