Toto Nsiala Pre Fleetwood Town

Toto looks ahead to tomorrow's game with Fleetwood Town

Shrewsbury Town defender Toto Nsiala was pleased to get back to winning ways on Tuesday night and wants to take that form into Saturday.

Town scored four first-half goals as they beat Bristol Rovers on Tuesday night and Toto revealed that the players had spoken before the match about putting in an improved performance.

“I think we dropped our standards in the couple of games with the draws, but I think we just needed to get back on a high”, Nsiala said.

“We had a chat between ourselves and we said that we would have to work harder than we had in the last few weeks, which we did, and we got the result for it.

“They’ve not been bad performances, but they’ve not been at the standard that we set ourselves at the start of the season, so the aim was to work a lot harder and see what we get from the game.”

Just four days after that brilliant win on Saturday, Fleetwood are the visitors and Nsiala is looking to emulate Tuesday night performance.

“There isn’t an easy game in this league", said Toto.

"You can play bottom of the league like we did against Plymouth and we could have lost that game, so there’s no easy games. Every team plays a different way and you’ve got to adapt to it.

“It’s all about what happens on the day and how we go about things on Saturday. We will all be hoping for the same standards, the same work ethic and we will try and win.”
