Season Tickets Great Value

20 September 2017

Season Tickets still great value

With Town flying high at the top of the League One table, there has never been a better time to secure your seat for the rest of the 2017/18 season.

With just four home games played, the club are offering a re-priced Season Ticket for just £320 for Adults and £240 for Concessions.

The new prices could see supporters save more than £3 per match on a regular priced ticket and CEO Brian Caldwell is hopeful of encouraging some fans to take up the offer.

“We’ve looked at how we can re-price the season ticket to get those people that have come along for the first few games and seen that we are top of the league”, Brian told ShrewsWeb.

“We are hoping that we can produce a price for the remaining games of the season by taking out the first four games and deducting it accordingly.

“Hopefully, a few people would take up the option and save a bit more money than the fan card would give them. It would also secure their seat for the season, including cup matches.

“We have actually been selling season tickets over the last week, which is why we have thought about re-advertising it based on the remaining 19 home games and hopefully, it will encourage some of the supporters that have looked at us and have said that we aren’t a bad side.”

Season Tickets are just one way of watching the Town and Brian is encouraging as many fans to come down to the ground as possible.

“We are always working hard to try and encourage people to come along to the Montgomery Waters Meadow and actually watch the team”, said Caldwell.

“We are working really hard in the community to get young supporters here as well, so I would urge all supporters to try and encourage people to come and watch the team.

“It was great to see almost 7,000 supporters at the Wigan game on Saturday and even in the poor weather against Southend we had 5000 here, of which Southend only had about 150, so to have 4800 on a wet Tuesday night was a good home support.

“We need to try and continue that and as long as the wins keep coming I think people will come along, watch the team and hopefully take pride in their local team.”
