James Bolton is raring to go and looking forward to the challenge, he said: “It’s always a big occasion, to play there is always special and everyone is looking forward to it.

“Obviously it’s a big game, I have played against Lincoln a few times and they are no easy task at all, they have got some really good players and it’s going to be a hard one but I think we have enough ability to go and win.”

Bolton has enjoyed success at Wembley before with Halifax Town, winning the FA Trophy. The defender wants to replicate his previous triumph with Shrewsbury Town, he said: “It was a brilliant day, something you never forget and I don’t want to tarnish that, I want to go there again and win.

“I don’t want to have bad memories, Wembley is one of those places that you never know when your last time playing there, so every time, you have to go and get that win.

“Winning at Wembley is massive, it’s the best day I have had in football, without a shadow of doubt, and it’s something you never forget.”

Bolton says all the team’s focus is now on the game at Wembley, now the league games are at bay, he said: “It’s refreshing, you can think about something other than the league, it’s nice to have that little refreshing break from the league.

“There is no need for us to be worrying about it, it’s a once in a lifetime kind of place so we have got to go there and look forward to it.”

Bolton also outlined how the day will be beneficial for the club and the fans, he said: “It’s good for everyone, it’s good for the fans and it’s good to have that day out and we hope everyone enjoys it."
