Eisa picks up injury

Abo Eisa to be out for four to five weeks with knee ligament injury

Shrewsbury Town Winger Abo Eisa is set for a spell on the sidelines after picking up a knee ligament injury in training.

The former Wealdstone man picked up the injury after being block tackled as he went to shoot.

The injury is set to keep him out for around four to five weeks, meaning he isn’t likely to be available until early October.

Eisa hasn’t be involved in the early weeks of the Sky Bet League One season with John Askey confirming earlier this week that he was looking to get him out on-loan to a League Two club, but that will now be put on the backburner and Abo recovers with the Shrewsbury Town medical staff.
