Loan Update

13 August 2018

A look at how our players are getting on away from the club

It was late heartache for both of our players out on-loan this weekend as Ashton United and AFC Telford United both drew from winning positions.

Ryan Sears played the full-ninety minutes for the Bucks as they drew 1-1 with Guiseley. The Bucks looked to be heading for their second win of the season when substitute Andre Brown put them in front from the penalty spot with just 15 minutes to go, but in the 89th minute a miskick from Shane Sutton allowed Guiseley to scramble the ball home and rescue a draw.

Meanwhile, John McAtee was used as a substitute in Ashton’s 3-3 draw with Kidderminster Harriers. McAtee came on in the 52nd minute with Ashton leading 2-1. Ashton then extended their lead in the 73rd minute, but two goals in the final 15 minutes from Kiddy salvaged a draw, with McAtee unable to do anything about it.
