A look at how our players are getting on away from the club

Bryn Morris opened up his account for Wycombe Wanderers as they beat Bradford 2-1 away from home. Mackail-Smith scored first for Wycombe in the first half. Morris then doubled their lead in the 52nd minute when he side footed home Dominic Gape's cross with the help of a deflection. Bradford pulled one back in stoppage time but Wycombe held on for their first win of the season.

Sam Jones proved to be the difference for Cheltenham Town as they beat Cambridge United 1-0. Jones broke the deadlock in the 66th minute. The goal was Jones’s first of the campaign. Cheltenham also picked up their first win of the season.

Ryan Sears was still suspended for Telford’s clash with Chester FC on Saturday. The Bucks comfortably won 3-1. However Sears was back in the starting 11 for Telford’s game against Leamington FC on Monday. Gavin Cowan’s side were unable to extend their winning run to four matches, but remained unbeaten in seven after taking a point from an entertaining encounter which finished 2-2.

Luke Hendrie made his first start for Grimsby as they lost 1-0 away to Newport County.

John McAtee featured as a late sub for both of Ashton United’s games this week, Saturdays game finished as a 2-2 draw away to Southport. Mondays game also finished 2-2 at home to Darlington.  Ashton United are still looking for their first win of the season.
