Shrewsbury Town in the Community search for Summer Cup volunteers
Shrewsbury Town in the Community are seeking volunteers to assist in the smooth running of their second annual Summer Cup event.
Taking place on Saturday 1st & Sunday 2nd September 2018 at the Ludlow Football Stadium, the Summer Cup is a celebration of grassroots football with over 70 teams registered for this years tournament and in excess of 2000 people expected across the weekend.
We are seeking an army of volunteers to assist us across the weekend in a variety of different roles. Volunteers can choose to assist for a half day session, Full Day session or weekend session. Please see below for times & further details.
Half Day Session: 8.00am – 13.00pm or 13.00pm – 18.00pm
Full Day Session: 8.00am – 18.00pm
Weekend: Sat & Sunday 08.00am – 18.00pm
Each volunteer will receive 1 Meal Voucher per Full Day session signed up for to the total of £5 per voucher to be used at Ludlow Football Stadium outlets only. Volunteers will also be provided with free refreshments throughout their volunteer hours.
Volunteers will receive a Summer Cup T Shirt to wear for the duration of their volunteering hours. You will also be required to wear suitable sports trainers, White Sports Socks (No Ankle Socks) and navy blue shorts or trousers.
For each full day completed, volunteers will also receive a 2 person ticket voucher for a Shrewsbury Town Home Sky Bet League 1 Fixture.
Volunteer space are limited and allocated on a first come, first served basis.
