Aaron Amadi-Holloway pre Scunthorpe

1 December 2018

Aaron Amadi-Holloway looks ahead to Town's FA Cup clash with Scunthorpe United.

Shrewsbury Town take on Scunthorpe United this weekend in the FA Cup second-round.

Town will be looking to make it back-to-back wins with a victory over the Iron.

Amadi-Holloway firstly looked back on Town's last couple of games and was pleased to get back to winning ways against Plymouth.

"It was a very good result for us, the team played very well, we all worked very hard and I think we deserved the 3 points.

"Fey is on fire, it's good to see him doing well. He had a slow start to the season and now he's showing what he can do so I'm very happy for him.

Aaron was pleased with the performance after a disapointing result against Wycombe.

"Yes it was a very difficult game, we knew how they were going to play and it was really hard to play against. I thought we should have got a point from the game.

"It was just a blip, you can't win every game and you can't draw every game. That was a tough game and we did well to bounce back against Plymouth.

"Training has been really good. Coyne and Eric have been doing very well. We're working really hard and doing what they're telling us to do and so far it's working."

Aaron told Shrewsweb what he expects from Scunthorpe on Sunday.

"It's going to be another tough game, all games are tough. We're still going to work hard and get the win.

"It's a very special competition, I've played in the cup quite a lot of times and I enjoy it a lot, I think most of us do, fans love it as well.

"It's excting, don't overlook them (Scunthorpe), it's going to be a tough game, they're going to be at it and we'll see what happens."
