Chelsea recall Colkett from his loan spell with Town
Shrewsbury Town can confirm that Chelsea have recalled Charlie Colkett from his loan spell with the club.
The midfielder has returned to London having spent six months in Shropshire with Town.
Sam Ricketts gave his thoughts on Colkett’s return to his parent club.
“Chelsea requested that they wanted to recall him,” said Sam. “He came here to play and unfortunately he hasn’t played as much as he’d have liked.
“He is a great lad and has undoubted ability and I really liked him as a person.
“His footballing ability is something that is excellent as well. I just hope for him that it works out where ever he goes in his future.”
