Fejiri Okenabirhie looks ahead to Town's tie with Sunderland.
Shrewsbury Town are on the road again this weekend as we take on Sunderland in the Sky Bet League One.
Town will be looking for a return to winning ways after a disappointing result at Accrington Stanley.
Fejiri Okenabirhie was frustrated with the result against Stanley and hopes to see improvement against Sunderland.
“It was a tough game,” said Town’s frontman. “I think the start of the game was where it was really decided.
“We didn’t start quick enough and they got two goals. That put us on the back foot in the game.
“In the second-half we were a lot better, but obviously we gave ourselves a mountain to climb because of our start.
“Sam has given me bits of advice on where I can improve and shown me things I’m good at that I can keep working on. Hopefully we can do well for the rest of the season.”
Fejiri is expecting a tough game from the home side but feels his team have enough to win the game.
“It’s going to be a tough game,” said Fejiri. “They are near the top end of the table, but I think we showed that when we played them at home there is nothing to fear.
“We have played well against a lot of the top teams in the league, so if we are on our game we will definitely give them a good match.
“We are going there to win. It’s still a League One match, still 11 against 11, so we are still going there for three points.
“It will be nice to experience the stadium and the atmosphere, but at the end of the day we are going there to win and play well.”
