Loan Update

17 December 2018

A look at how our players are getting on away from the club.

Ryan Barnett helped Telford to a win with a man of the match performance as the Bucks beat Farsley Celtic 4-3 in the FA Trophy first round. Barnett scored Telford's second goal with a fantastic strike from 25yards. This was Ryan's first game since his loan spell was extended by 3 months last week.

Bryn Morris started for Wycombe as they drew 2-2 away from home to Gillingham. Two goals in the first 20 minutes of the game gave the Chairboys a comfortable lead going into the second half but Gillingham pulled two goals back, the first goal from Tom Eaves in the 56th minute and Parker in the 76th minute.

Sam Jones scored his second goal for Cheltenham Town as they drew 2-2 with Port Vale. Jones levelled the game for Cheltenham in the 26th minute after Vale opened the scoring in the 13th minute. Jones did well to react to a ball that was parried out by the keeper. Jones was in the right position to slot the ball home.

Luke Hendrie started for Grimsby Town as they picked up an important win against mid-table Swindon Town. The result means that Grimsby are now 6 points off of the relegation zone.

Arthur Gnahoua appeared as a second-half substitute in the 57th minute as AFC Fylde thrashed Stratford Town 5-1 in the FA Trophy.

George Hughes was an unused sub as Stalybridge Celtic lost in stoppage time 3-2 to South Shields.
