Mat Sadler pre Burton Albion

Mat Sadler looks ahead to Town's clash with Burton Albion.

Town return to Sky bet League One action this weekend with a trip to Burton Albion.

Town will be looking to build on recent form and keep the winning ways going forward.

Mat Sadler was pleased for his teammates against Walsall and feels the squad are in a good place.

“The lads have been working really hard,” Mat said. “I thought on Wednesday night we played really well.

“We could have scored more goals, but in the end it was quite good how we dug in and got the result in that way.

“There is loads of ways to win a football match and that was a very satisfying one.

“We are working really hard and we are playing well together.

“The team on Wednesday was full of changes and full of people desperate to get into the team and that can only be healthy.

“There is a real togetherness about the building and a real desire and will to see us win football matches – long may that continue.”

Mat is expecting a tough test from Burton but feels his team can come away with a result.

“Tomorrow is a big, big game,” said Town’s first-team captain. “They are just down from the Championship and aren’t doing as well as they’d have liked.

“Each week they will be desperate to prove people wrong. They want to be fighting and challenging at the top end of the table.

“Anytime that you go to Burton, in any league, it will be a tough game. It will be a tough, tough game and will have to be right at it to get anything from it.

“We are looking forward to the challenge and will be looking to get those three points.

“We go into any game with confidence, but what I will say is we need to put our away record right – that hasn’t been quite good enough this season.

“We need to start picking points up away from home and that first opportunity is coming on Saturday.”
