Shrewsbury Town are pleased to confirm that the half-season ticket offer will extend to the safe standing area.
Town fans still have the chance to be a part of history by joining the BlueAmberArmy in England and Wales’ first safe standing area.
With Town sitting just outside of the Play-Off places, the remainder of the season could be an eventful five months for the team.
For just £195 you can guarantee your space for the remaining 11 home league games of the season – a price that works out at just over £17 per game.
The half-season ticket would be activated in time for the Fleetwood Town game just after Christmas, which would make a great Christmas present for the Shrewsbury Town fan in your life.
Town CEO Brian Caldwell is pleased to confirm that safe standing half-season tickets are available to the fans.
“The safe standing area has been a great addition, I think everyone would agree,” Brian said. “The atmosphere in the stadium noticeably increased, which everyone enjoys and it helps to push the team on.
“Fans can see and feel the difference in the atmosphere and they want to join that experience.
“Half-season tickets are available in the safe standing area, which is great for Town fans still wishing to be a part of the clubs history.
“The safe standing season-tickets are a great opportunity to save some money on the game by game basis and have your own place for the rest of the season.
“The area has had a lot of attention and take up on match-days, so it would be great to see it full every game – creating that great atmosphere for the team.
“We are delighted to see a number of fans have already made the switch over the course of the season. Around 40 or 50 have switched from other areas of the stadium.
“The take up level has been high throughout the season, so I would expect the area to be near capacity after the half-season ticket window.
“The safe standing ahs been brilliant - hats off to Mike and Roger. They have done this process and are still working on it and talking all the time on how we can improve things.
“Considering we haven’t been firing on all cylinders – to have a 75% occupancy level is great.”
