Yeovil beat Fleetwood late on to book Town trip
Town’s opponents in the semi-final of the CheckaTrade Trophy is now know after this evenings game between Yeovil Town and Fleetwood Town.
Yeovil were 3-2 winners in the game played at Huish Park this evening thanks to a 90-minute winner from Francois Zoko.
The home side looked to be on their way to the victory but Fleetwood pegged it back to 2-2 thanks to a goal from Hiwula in the 80th minute. The game then looked to be going to penalties until Zoko popped up in injury time to see the Glovers into the semi-finals.
Town will now welcome Yeovil to the Montgomery Waters Meadow on Tuesday 27th February with a 7:45pm kick-off.
The other semi-final took place this evening between Lincoln City and Chelsea U21s and the game ended 1-1 after 90 minutes so it went to penalties, and it was Lincoln who progressed to the Wembley final winning the game 4-2 on penalties.
