Charlton Athletic game postponed

11 January 2018

Game on 23rd January postponed due to Checkatrade Trophy commitments

Shrewsbury Town’s Sky Bet League One game at home to Charlton Athletic on Tuesday 23rd January has been postponed.

Last night’s penalty shootout win in the Checkatrade Trophy means that Town have now progressed to the quarter-finals of the competition and that quarter-final tie will now take place in that week.

This is due to EFL information that the Checkatrade Trophy takes priority over the league at this stage of the competition.

This is the second time that the game against Charlton has been postponed after the original game, set for the 11th November, was called off for international call-ups.

The rearranged date is not yet known, but keep an eye on the club’s media channels for all the latest updates on fixture changes and ticket news.
