U8s go FREE to every SkyBet League One game this season
Shrewsbury Town continue to offer free tickets to Under-8s for all Sky Bet League One home games.
The initiative means that any child under the age of eight can receive a free ticket as long as they are accompanied by an adult.
The club have been offering this deal for a while now and CEO Brian Caldwell hopes it will entice more youngsters to the games.
“Young fans are vitally important to us at Shrewsbury Town”, said Brian.
“I have been speaking for a long time now about trying to create the next generation of Shrewsbury Town fans and Under-8s for free is just one way that we are trying to do that.
“We also offer the youth group offer which has proved popular and gives 20 free tickets to youth organisations that want to attend a game.
“The manager has put together a really good side this season, so it would be great to see more young fans coming down to the Montgomery Waters Meadow and enjoying the occasion.
“We know that days out with children can be expensive, so we hope that by offering free tickets to Under-8s we can help keep the costs down and entice more families to the games.
“Next season we are hoping to extend this offer to Under-12s and hopefully that will lead to even more children coming down and enjoying what we have to offer.”
Currently this offer is only available in person from the ticket office at the Montgomery Waters Meadow or over the phone, we are looking into making it available online.
