Young defender makes the switch to Vale
Zak Jules has today joined Port Vale on loan until the end of the season.
Zak joined Town last summer from Reading and spent the early part of the season on loan with Chesterfield.
Unfortunately the loan was cut short after his picked up a hamstring injury that needed surgery. This was successful and he has been working hard to get back to fitness ahead of time.
Zak now has the chance to get more games with a Port Vale side who have picked up since Neil Aspin took over the managerial reigns.
Town manager Paul Hurst is hoping the move will help to continue Zak’s development.
“It was unfortunate that he picked up the injury while at Chesterfield as he was starting to do well there”, said Paul.
“He’s shown great strength and determination to come back from the injury and now he needs to get some games.
“With Port Vale he’s going to a good club where he has the chance to show what he can do and then come back to us better and stronger.”
