Town drawn in group with Tranmere Rovers, Crewe Alexandra and Man City
The draw for this seasons CheckaTrade Trophy has taken place and Town now know their opponents for this season’s competition.
The groups were reviled earlier with Town being drawn in Group D of the Northern Section with Tranmere Rovers and Crewe Alexandra.
The invited groups were drawn out this afternoon with Man City U21s being the final side added to Group D.
It looks a good group for Town to play in with games against Mickey Mellon’s Tranmere Rovers, the local derby Crewe Alexandra and welcome Man City U21s to the Montgomery Waters Meadow.
