Role Description
Shrewsbury Town Football Club are looking to recruit a Media and Communications Assistant to join the clubs Media and Communications department.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven individual with excellent written, new media and interpersonal skills to help the club to provide content across all of its digital and non-digital platforms.
Based at the Montgomery Waters Meadow, this role is a great opportunity to work at the heart of a fast-paced, demanding yet exciting industry.
Applicants need to be prepared for an industry that demands flexibility and dedication outside of what many would consider to be ‘the traditional nine-to-five’ in exchange for an extremely unique and rewarding experience that will also allow you to develop, grow and widen your own professional skills.
The role would suit a recent media graduate and someone who is based in the Shropshire/Midlands area already.
Key Tasks
Maintaining the Shrewsbury Town official website www.shrewsburytown.com
Produce written content across the clubs digital and non-digital platforms.
Conduct interviews for use on the clubs IFollow and digital platforms to be used in both video and written output.
Monitor and develop the clubs existing social media platforms.
Cover the Shrewsbury Town first team games both home and away.
Work along side the clubs Academy and Shrewsbury Town in the Community
