Eddie Hall comes for a special evening at the Meadow

The ‘World’s Strongest Man’ Eddie Hall was down at the Montgomery Waters Meadow last Friday (30th June) for a special event.

‘An Evening with… Eddie Hall’ saw people travel from far and wide to meet the strongman who picked up the title of World’s Strongest Man in Botswana last year.

The event allowed fans to get up close with the 29 stone giant from Stoke-on-Trent, who posed for photos before retelling some of his tales from over the years.

Eddie is just one of a host of big names to visit the Montgomery Waters Meadow recently with Jamie Carragher also coming for a sportsman’s dinner last month.

Hospitality Manager, Max Senatore, was delighted to welcome Eddie and his fans to the stadium.

“It’s great for us to get some big names at the Montgomery Waters Meadow”, said Max.

“Eddie is a big guy and a great character. I hope that everyone who came down enjoyed the evening and enjoyed the facilities that we offer here.

“As a venue we can host many different styles of events to suit people’s needs and hopefully we can have more events like this in the future.”
